Service was good. Ambiance was good. Food was GREAT! I ordered the Enchiladas de Mole Poblano. The enchiladas were outta this world. The true mole taste made an impact on me, they reminded me of my husband's cooking. My daughter agrees with me too. This location on Amar Rd in La Puente is not to be missed.

Very good good , real Mexican food. Very authentic. Good service, a little dated but clean. But it closes at 4pm so we can't go that often.

What a little gem! Came for a birthday breakfast with the family on a Friday and it was not very busy, seated right away. The service was great for our large party and the cafe de la olla was AMAZING!! no need for sugar cream or anything, perfect. All the tortillas were made by hand and the flour was my favorite. Everyone loved their dishes. We enjoyed Chilaquiles Con Huevo, Huevos Divorciados, Huevos Rancheros, Desayuno Macho (stuffed pepper, not spicy and not battered like how chile rellenos are). Everything was delicious and I can't wait to come back.

I've been going to this restaurant for years. Their food is always good, but I don't care for their salsa. Their homemade tortillas are fantastic! I order a few dozen flour tortillas and a dozen corn tortillas every year on Christmas, as well as tamales. They are open on Christmas day, which is nice. Their tamales used to taste a lot better years ago. They are still good, but not as good as before. It's worth it to eat here for the tortillas!

Great authentic Mexican style dishes. I took home some tamales and cheese for my family and my grandmother couldn't stop raving about how the cheese tamales were well balanced with a substantial amount of filling to masa ratio. I brought my family to the restaurant so they could explore their options. The food is great, and the cheese is fresh and actually made on location. I always end up leaving with a few cheeses and dozen tamales. The micheladas are good but not filled to the top because the jar is too big. The Aguas frescas are great. The atole and cafe de Olla are perfect for the cold weather and cozy breakfast. Did I mention homemade Tortillas corn or flour.

Menudo and Tamales is my go to for this place.. Family restaurant, great customer service, great food and great portions. This place has it's own parking lot that fits about 12 parking spaces and two handicap spaces. There is also parking on the street. Horchata is good here too if anyone is asking. Ambiance is just a basic Mexican family restaurant, nothing crazy and no loud music.

As I set foot in the humble abode of "La Poblana" Mexican restaurant, I was greeted with a warm welcome and seated expeditiously. The server attended to our drink order promptly and handed us their inviting menu. Moments later, a platter of sweet bread was presented before us with a courteous offer, though we politely declined. Our anticipation was heightened as we awaited the arrival of their much-raved about "queso fresco." The dish arrived in all its glory, with three delicately handcrafted flour tortillas and a side of zesty green salsa. As I took a bite of the soft, creamy cheese, it was as if the heavens opened up and bestowed upon me an explosion of flavors that tantalized my taste buds. Our appetite was further piqued, and we proceeded to order the "huvos con chorizo" accompanied by beans, papa's, and a side of avocado slices. The chorizo was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice, and when combined with cheese, salsa, and avocado, it elevated the dish to a new level of deliciousness The beans and potatoes were also excellently seasoned, completing the dish with a satisfying finish. Overall, the food at "La Poblana" was both appetizing and fulfilling, providing a memorable dining experience. The servers were also fantastic and a friendly reminder to be kind to them as they worked diligently to make us happy. I highly recommend this establishment for its simple yet delectable Mexican cuisine and mariscos, located on the edge of Westside LA Puente. I will definitely return for more of their mouth-watering dishes.

By far, the best Menudo I've had so far in La puente. You must try. It's clean, pieces are cut in small pieces. I'm picky when it comes to menudo. I was very satisfied. The flavor is very good. I highly recommend. Cafe de Olla, Wow!! I don't drink coffee but I wanted to try, and I sure was not disappointed. I will come again and try other authentic food here!
